BIOGRAPHY

Every leap forward in technology leaves ghosts behind—

stories once tucked into floppy disks, forgotten on scorched hard drives, or abandoned in formats time refused to remember. But the cloud has become a kind of digital necromancy, a place where lost tales rise again, restored, remembered, and ready to breathe anew.

A.R. Boaz has been crafting short stories for over three decades, with more than 20 years of publication behind her. Her academic path winds through a B.A. in Sociology & Criminal Justice and an M.A. in Sociology & Teaching, alongside years spent advising student organizations and serving as Adjunct Faculty.

She’s as comfortable in a classroom as she is in a writer’s den.

Her experience stretches far beyond academia: Director of LARP and Social Gaming, Second Senior Director of Tabletop Gaming at MomoCon, guest lecturer, educational consultant for game designers studying group behavior,

and former Director of both HECCAM2 Inc. and Forest of Doors LLC.

​

A storyteller, a worldbuilder, a mentor, and a keeper of resurrected tales—

Having personally dealt with peripheral neuropathy (bilateral small sensory nerve neuropathy) for almost a decade and domestic violence for 20, Aldéa hopes her nonfiction works will help others with the resulting mental and physical consequences of suffering.

​

Asking for assistance is not weak, it's courageous.

Standing up for yourself is attainable.

​

Currently living in Atlanta, GA with her amazingly patient significant other, 

two very spoiled dogs and surrounded by found family.
